In the Name of God, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful
The international funeral ceremony of Iran’s martyred Leader has become one of the largest and most magnificent social and political events of the present century. During the first two days, millions of people from across Iran and delegations from more than 100 countries around the world gathered to pay their final respects to the martyred Leader; an unprecedented turnout that manifested national solidarity and devotion to this historic figure, while demonstrating the deep bond between the nation and the state.
Today, the ceremony continues in Tehran, the capital of Iran, with an expected attendance of over 15 million people. The funeral processions will subsequently continue in the cities of Qom, Najaf, Karbala, and ultimately Mashhad.
Beyond its emotional aspects and national tribute, this massive participation reflects the resilience of the foundations of the Islamic Republic of Iran and its systematic progress guided by rationality; a trajectory that, relying on popular backing, has successfully safeguarded its sovereignty and stability despite two imposed wars and the interventionist provocations of the past year, serving as an inspiration for global public opinion.
The striking presence of international media and the extensive coverage of this event has not only turned the funeral of Iran’s martyred Leader into the most significant global event of recent days, but also stand as a testament to the strategic importance of Iran's developments in global public opinion.
